HNU Housing Application

Housing Application

The Office of Housing & Residence Life seeks to provide community members with a comfortable, educational, diverse, and caring community where academic success, individual development and social responsibility are valued. The Office of Housing & Residence Life program provides professional live-in staff members as well as Resident Assistants who are carefully selected and trained upper-class students who live within each building, and are responsible for the facilitation of a positive community atmosphere. We are certain you will find living on campus to be a unique and valuable experience where opportunities to make friends are endless. Living on campus can enhance what you learn in the classroom and will help make your college years a well-rounded experience.

The following items are required to complete your file and must be received prior to issuing your housing assignment:

Housing Application & Meal Plan Contract
Housing Acceptance Form
$100 Housing deposit
Immunization records (for new applicants only)

All international students must submit proof of health insurance to the Admissions Office with application materials. These records will be shared with International Students Services and Housing & Residence Life as appropriate. While HNU does not require domestic students to provide proof of health insurance, the University strongly encourages residents to continuously maintain a health insurance plan.

Disability-related housing requests must be submitted prior to the guaranteed housing application deadline. For more information about requesting accommodations related to a disability, including documentation requirements, please visit our Disability Support Services page or contact the Disability Support Services office at dss@hnu.edu.
